We now have fresh Vibe X3, which is the new flagship device by Lenovo. Vibe X3 can be said as the best phone available in this price range which fulfills requirements of almost every section of masses. With this price it covers its all precedents feature with some added features also.

Battery

The battery is sanctioned inside the phone’s aluminum unibody. The battery has a huge capacity of 3500mAh which is less than the vibe P1 but should be more than enough to get a full day of heavy use. The Vibe X3’s juice can last far a full day with lots of usages comprising 4K video recording, enough data usage over wifi and the cellular network, and a portion of gaming.

Display

It wears a 5.5 inches Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display with 401 PPI pixel density. The screen can reproduce 100 percent NTSC color scale, and that colors are briefly not over drenched. Colors of the screen are vibrant and their brightness level can be adjusted simply great.

The loads surprisingly fast and its auto mode for light detection works accurately. Picture quality is nice but sometimes gets over exposed. But the 4K video looks firm and steady.

Performance

Lenovo has thumps an equilibrium within cost and performance. That is why Vibe X3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, which is not the latest that you can get. There is a 3GB of RAM which should retain stuff sleekly. It has 32GB of storage out of which you get only 24 GB of on board storage. Lenovo has now refined its Vibe UI. Now you can get a stock android experience Which an app drawer which lacks in earlier vibe UI’s.

Conclusion

In all Lenovo has delivered one of the best product for this price range. The biggest disappointment of the Vibe X3 is its camera performance but other than that it gives you a great value for money deal.

Vivo V3 Max

Vivo has shown tremendous growth in the market of smartphones from its launch in 2009. It is a Chinese company but has held the Indian market quite precisely. Now Vivo has launched V3 and V3 Max and doing a pretty decent business as it stands as 5th smartphone vendor in the world.

Battery

It has a 3000mAh battery. V3 Max has dual engine setup which is used to charge the phone faster. It does not bundle any Qualcomm’s Quick Charge but does the charging fast because of the 2 controller chip present inside. During gaming, it does have high drainage of battery but its battery can last for a day for the moderate use.

The picture quality of the camera is quite sharp and snaps are independent of grain even on the zooming.

Performance

The Vivo V3 Max is powered by 1.8 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor with 4 GB RAM. In terms of the performance, V3 Max succeeds from other vendors. In AnTuTu benchmark it scores 71,168 and in the graphical benchmark, it has 33fps in T-phone. The works equally fine with almost all the games and has a free RAM of 2 GB when a lot of apps are not running.

Conclusion

Vivo V3 Max has completed all the requirement perfectly for mid range phones. With good built quality and excellent performance. If you want a phone that gives the feel of iOS then the Funtouch OS 2.5 will definitely fulfill your requirement. It is pretty heavily customized and is designed to look and work very close to Apple’s iOS.

Gionee S6s

Unlike other Chinese vendors, Gionee is not restricted to a particular budget price segment. It has a fine series of phones in each price spectrum. Now Gionee announces the upgraded version of its famous handset Gionee S6 with an extra ‘s’ and some added features.

Battery

It is supported by a non-removable Li-Po 3150 mAh battery. It has got an extreme mode in settings to extend you battery life. S6s has got better battery life than its predecessor. It takes about 2 hours to get fully charged that means it does not support fast charging.

Display

It has the 5.5-inch 2.5D curved display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass coating, while the rear is all metal. It has got a golden ring on its corners which give it a very elegant look. The display is nice and has nothing special to shout about it decent and works similarly to the phones in this price range.

Gionee has been promoting it selfie camera very much. It can be said as its USP. The 8-megapixel fixed focus front camera comes with its own flash module and packs a f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera is of 13 megapixels which use sony sensor and take pretty clean and accurate image in both low and good lighting conditions. But same cannot be said for the front camera. Front camera struggle in low light indoor condition but other than that it works perfectly fine and some the best image as compared to other cameras in this price segment.

Performance

In terms of performance, it performs surprisingly very good. It didn’t  show any lags for multitasking. It gets heated sometimes after heavy gaming but other then no heating issue was observed during testing. The phone is has a 1.3 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor with 3 GB of RAM. Gionee has an Amigo UI 3.2 which is running on the top of android marshmallow v6.0. The skin UI works fine with some animation that was never present in the previous version but the only disappointment is the bloatware that comes pre-installed and that cannot be removed.

Conclusion

With the full metal body and decent performance, Gionee offers you a great package but it’s not a unique product in the crowds. The specs that Gionee is providing can be found in the phone of lesser price so we wonder that gionee can stand in market with a little high price or not.

Xiaomi Mi Max (4GB RAM)

This time, Xiaomi has purely focused on the crowd of people who love the large screen phones. Earlier it was not common to see a phone with such a large screen, although tablets were seen and equally accepted, but now almost every brand tries to put a product in this category and same is the case with Xiaomi.

Camera

We have a 16-megapixel sensor on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera in the front. If you are aware of the performance of the camera in Redmi Note 3 then Mi Max is its replica. The camera lens used in both device are same and so the picture quality that they provide are also same. The camera is really average but is capable of recording 4K video from rear and 720p video from the front. Other than that it has some added modes like slow- motion and time lapse which works pretty fine. On outdoors the camera works really fine but struggles in low light.
